    On days of high fire danger the above radio stations regulary broadcast information relating to fires around the state and local area. This could be used as a means of obtaining information on fires that may be affecting the area where you live.

Please note that the Mount Egerton Fire Brigade, and other Brigades in the surrounding area, have a zero tolerance policy for illegal fires, they will be reported to the police. This includes fires that are lit outside the conditions stated on a permit. Note that moorabool Shire is in the Central Fire Ban District.
