On the 29th of March 2013 the Mount Egerton CFA will be travelling around town taking donations for the Good Friday Appeal. So if you see your local big red truck with the ladies and gents in yellow please give generously and help make a difference to a sick child. Any donation is appreciated.
Mount Egerton Primary School is now taking Prep enrollments for 2014 and is always open to take enrollments for any other year level. Mount Egerton Primary is situated in Church Street which is directly opposite of the General Store and Hall and is just off the main road. Mount Egerton Primary has great student to teacher ratio, small class sizes and can therefore individually tailor to your child's learning needs. It is a really clean, friendly small school with fantastic facilities and up-to-date technology (recently IPADS have been introduced to the classroom). As it has been doing for over 135 years Mount Egerton Primary School welcomed it's students back to school this week.Carol Taylor also joined the school as Acting Principle and Michelle Ainely returned for her second year at the school.Mount Egerton currently has 13 children enrolled at the school.The school is still fully operational and is not looking at closing it's doors anytime soon. It has great student to teacher ratios, fantastic learning facilities and it just a great little community school.Before you make a decision about which school to enroll your child in next year, or where to transfer them to- please come up to the school and take a look around, we are sure you will be pleasantly surprised.
Mount Egerton Primary School would love to invite you to their 2013 Christmas Concert.The concert will be held on the 19th of December at the school at 58 Church Street, Mount Egerton and will start at 6pm.Throughout the night you will be treated to an array of performances from singing and dancing to skits and a theatrical performance. The CFA would like to advise that fire restrictions are likely to come into effect on midnight on the 22nd of December. This date has not been full confirmed yet, but is an estimate to help the community get prepared in time for the fire season. Please ensure that all burn offs are completed before this date as written permission will need to be obtained to have a fire within the fire restriction time.
