On the 29th of March the Mount Egerton CFA will be travelling around town taking donations for the Good Friday Appeal. So if you see your local big red truck with the ladies and gents in yellow please give generously and help make a difference to a sick child. Any donation is appreciated.
As it has been doing for over 135 years Mount Egerton Primary School welcomed it's students back to school this week.Carol Taylor also joined the school as Acting Principle and Michelle Ainely returned for her second year at the school.Mount Egerton currently has 13 children enrolled at the school.The school is still fully operational and is not looking at closing it's doors anytime soon. It has great student to teacher ratios, fantastic learning facilities and it just a great little community school.Before you make a decision about which school to enroll your child in next year, or where to transfer them to- please come up to the school and take a look around, we are sure you will be pleasantly surprised.

Fire restrictions period came into force at 1 am on Monday 10th December 2012. No burning off without a written permit. The Police will be notified of any illegal burns.

Congratulations to the Mount Egerton CFA for taking home the Fiskville Cup!! Congratulations also to Clint Bachelor for being awarded Best Crew Leader on the day. Well done everyone! The Fiskville Cup was held on Sunday the 28th of October with brigades from Ballan, Blackwood, Gordon, Greendale, Millbrook, Morrisons and Mt Egerton all participating on the day.
